RESEARCH PERMANENT-MAGNET SYNCHRONOUS MACHINE AND DESIGN OF ELECTRIC DRIVE IN THE POWER SYSTEM PACKAGE

Abstract:
Rapid development of the permanent magnet technology increased power density and efficiency of permanent-magnet machines. Motion systems based on these machines start to play key rule in many industry brunches, consequently, they are being intensively researched recent years. In this work the problem of nonlinearity possible to observe is discussed also its influence on torque oscillations. Some aspects of electric drive design are also considered in this context. The Power System package used as modeling tool contains extensive library of virtual electric machines, semi?conductor converters and control systems. It allows designing virtual laboratories necessary for researches, engineers and training students.
