THE INFLUENCE OF THE ROTOR MAGNETIC CIRCUIT SHAPE ON THE PARAMETERS OF THE RELUCTANCE MOTOR

Abstract:
In the paper the reluctance synchronous motor (RSM) produced in MIKROMA S.A. for textile machines has been presented. The concept of RSM is based on a squirrel cage induction motor construction. In order to improve its functional parameters, the analysis of the influence of the rotor shape on the parameters has been performed. The reluctance rotor with permanent magnets has been also taken into account. The results of calculations and the laboratory tests have been presented. It has been shown that selected reluctance rotor and reluctance rotor with co-excitation by permanent magnets have very good properties, especially if current and power factor is concerned.
