FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS OF THE ROTATING TRANSFORMER OF THE RESOLVER

Abstract:
The paper deals with a field-circuit model of electromagnetic phenomena in the rotating transformer of the resolver. The numerical implementation of the mathematical model is based on the finite element method and a step-by-step algorithm. In order to include non-linearity, the Newton-Raphson process has been adopted. The elaborated program has been successfully adapted to the analysis of the influence of core's magnetic material on the properties of the transformer. The results of the calculations and the mesurments are presented.
