DIGITAL INTEGRATED SYSTEM OF ACCELERATING-BALANCING FACILITY CONTROL

Abstract:
The structure of a digital integrated system of accelerating-balancing facility (ABF) control, intended for tests and balancing of rotors of mean and large electric machines, has been adduced. The system includes four complexes: the drive, oil system, vibrations and balancing control. The hardware and software structure, basing on the thyristor converters Simoreg DC Master of the programmed controllers Simatic S7-300, operator station Simatic RACK PC IL 40 of Siemens and SCADA WinCC corporation, has been considered. The concrete data on implementation of control functions, regulation, control and protection are resulted. The possibility of using the ABF's mathematical simulation results for structure refinement and regulators' adjustment definition has been considered. The trends of the drive's main specifications obtained during the factory tests and balancing of electrical machines' rotors have been adduced. The results of ABF's trial maintenance having the motor with a power of 500 kW have been adduced.
