DETERIORATION OF THE DYNAMICS IN THE DIGITALLY CONTROLLED SYSTEMS DUE TO THE DELAY AND FILTERING OF THE SIGNALS

Abstract:
The paper deals with the influence of digital processing of the signals in processor controlled systems on the control dynamics. The step operation of the processor, A/D and D/A conversion as well as necessity of filtering of the signals deteriorate dynamic of the system in relation to its analogue realisation. The signal delay and filter time constants should be considered at controller tuning. The problem is presented on the example of simply control system as well as on the example of high dynamic servo-drive with elasticity and state controller. For both systems the deterioration of control quality due to delay and filtering of the signals is shown.
