MICROPROCESSOR'S MEASURE SYSTEM OF THE ASYNCHRONOUS MOTOR TORQUE

Abstract:
Knowledge of instantaneous motor torque value is needed for designing the motor vectorial control systems or for realizing the laboratory investigations such as drive systems. Directly measuring this quantity is difficult in practice, so the different methods of torque calculations basing on chosen motor state variables are realized. Proposition of the system calculated of the torque instantaneous value of the squirrel-cage and wound-rotor induction motor using mixed signal DSP controller ADSP-21992 (Analog Devices) will be presented in the article. The motor torque can be calculated on the basis of: currents, voltages, rotor angle, measure depending on the users opportunity. The proposed system is useful to the scientific and didactic laboratory investigation of asynchronous motor drives.
