Abstract:
The paper presents additional solutions for input power factor correction of Voltage Source Conditioner (VSC) and method of its stability analysis. Usage of series inductance in compensator power stage caused the input power factor deterioration. Proposed modifications let solve this problem so that the input power factor is unity. Connection of two parallel cur-rent and voltage sources with common DC element gives the ability to improve stability. Re-sults of proposed modification are very good reactive and distortion power compensation.
