|USE OF BIOMETRIC SAMPLES IN CRYPTOGRAPHY AND FOR ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE HARDENING|
In the article the concept of generation of cryptographic keys as a pseudorandom sequences is proposed. The form of the coding key is closely related with the ID marker previously extracted from the specified biometric feature. This allows to perform encryption process of any binary data with no need to remember any passwords, pins etc. The biometric features used in the experiments are an iris and fingerprint images. The proposed method of encryption using the MVL pseudorandom sequences generator, as well as the concept of the electronic signature hardening are described.
