INDUCTIVE MAGNETO-HYDRO-DYNAMIC INSTALLATIONS FOR NON-FERROMAGNETIC METAL CASTING

Abstract:
The paper describes the electrical installations for metallurgical technology. There are electromagnetical mixing, transportation and dozing of melted metal. With the electromagnetic treatment of the crystallizing metal the heat conductivity and diffusion coefficients are increased sufficiently. In result of crystallization macro and micro structures of metal are getting more homogeneous, the particles of structure are refined, column crystal zones are eliminated, the axis liquation are avoided, gas bladders and casual increments are lifted on the surface. Besides the further treatment improves mechanical property of metals. At wire production the equalization of length electrical property is achieved. Additionally in the paper there is description and general performances of three phase semi submersible pump. The approach to modeling and calculation of inductive machines are given as well.
