EFFECTS OF ENVIRONMENT ON THE ELECTRIC PROPERTIES OF RECYCLED POLYETHYLENE FILLED WITH WOOD FLOUR

Abstract:
Recycling of polyolefin's materials brings opportunities to produce new materials potentially applicable in electro-engineering industry. The advantageous properties of synthetic materials enable their using in diversified operating conditions or environments, e.g. acidic environment or higher humidity. The tests carried out on recycled polyethylene filled with wood flour included their exposure to aging process in specific climatic conditions. Basing on the test results the courses of changes in electric properties of tested materials were presented.
