PERFORMANCE OF CHOSEN MAGNETIC MATERIALS IN CRYOGENIC TEMPERATURES

Abstract:
The paper presents comparative analysis of performance, in ambient (room temperature) and liquid nitrogen temperature, of soft magnetic materials used for magnetic cores of electrical machines. This includes such active soft magnetic materials as: electrical sheet and soft magnetic powder composite. The magnetic measurements of the abovementioned materials were carried out at 50Hz and 1000Hz by means the computerized system for magnetic measurements.
