|NEW SOOT PROCESSING ELECTROTECHNOLOGY|
A reduced pressure arc discharger with a hollow cathode is a unique electrotechnology device to process soot of no more than 10 microns particles. This electrotechnology allows to inject soot into highly reactive zone of plasma column and to influence particles by thermal or mechanical action. New technologies of particles fining and spheroidezation were developed in Novosibirsk State Technical University. Soot evaporation followed by condensation gave positive results. The theoretical and experimental research shows that the proposed constructional solutions give possibility of soot electron-ion heating with about 100 % yield.
