|UNCONVENTIONAL MEASUREMENT AND ANALYSIS OF THE HEART ELECTRICAL ACTIVITY|
High-resolution electrocardiography offers relatively new, non-invasive and non-expensive method for examination of heart electrical activity, especially for risk stratification of cardiac arrhythmia. The application of the high resolution technique to the body surface potential mapping was recently tested with 64-lead system. The system consists of low-noise amplifiers with own A/D converters and is operating in the electrically shielded room. The measurement requirements and methods of ECG signal analysis in time and frequency domain are discussed. The review of clinical study performed during last years is presented and some results are compared and discussed.
